Stance Width Optimizer
A stance that is too wide restricts pelvic rotation. Too narrow limits shear force generation. Find your bio-mechanical baseline.
Suggested Stance Width
inches
Measured from the inside heel of the left foot to the inside heel of the right foot.
Set your Balance Board stops to accommodate this width, then adjust slightly based on mobility constraints.
Manual Calculation Guide
Without JavaScript, use this rule of thumb for iron shots:
- Measure your shoulder width from outer deltoid to outer deltoid.
- For a mid-iron, place the inside of your heels at exactly that width.
- For a driver, place the inside of your heels 2-3 inches wider than shoulder width.
- For a wedge, place the outside of your heels at shoulder width.
